Continued great support from Hi-Way Services Ltd!

Hi-Way Services Ltd have continued their commitment to Kent Cancer Trust as their charity of choice, by presenting a cheque for £1000 to Stuart Minty (centre), our fund raiser in January 2019. With him are Lidia & Danny O’Reilly. Managing Director Andy O’Reilly was the man behind the lens and he said, “We believe we have a corporate responsibility to help local good causes and to provide them with a sustainable and ongoing level of support, Kent Cancer Trust is a perfect fit for us. We greatly admire and support the work they do, and would encourage other local businesses to get in touch with Stuart Minty and see how they can help, we intend to continue supporting them each year”

Hi-Way Services Ltd, based at Hersden near Canterbury, is a family run business with national coverage ....and has over 30 years experience in providing specialist road marking services.

Five years ago, Managing Director Andy O'Reilly was looking for a local charity to support. Following a number of meetings, we were chosen as the charity partner of Hi-Way Services. The company made a commitment to pay the charity a percentage of its turnover each year and we are delighted that their increased turnover enables them to support us with larger sums each year!

We really appreciate this ongoing support and partnership.

The University of Kent Ladies Hockey Team has supported Kent Cancer Trust  on a regular basis for 6 consecutive years. The event held on 18th March 2017 proved to be exceptional and raised the amazing sum of £4,000, a new record!

Our thanks to Harriet Anderson Bradley who chairs the hockey club and all her team!

Plans are already being made for the 2018 event, but the new committee know that they have been set quite a challenge, given the success achieved in 2017!
